NEXT | START OVER | PREVIOUS My granddaughter Stephie makes friends with a parrot at Sarasota Jungle Gardens. The gardens have a beautiful collection of Parrots and Macaws and other exotic birds, which perform in acrobatic shows (like riding a tiny bicycle on a high wire). Between shows, they pose with visitors. When my daughter Kim was a toddler, we used to bring her here on Sunday mornings and walk through the park to see all the flowers and plants and birds and their excellent butterfly and shell collections.
