'Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.' — Albert Camus. Leave it to a French existentialist to sum up the glory of a fall day. On Nov. 2, Star photographer Trent Penny captured vistas so perfect only Mother Nature could have mixed the colors of their palette. Alabama 9 from White Plains to Piedmont provided the backdrop.
