Funeral service for Patricia Calhoun Parris, 65, was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Derek Staples officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Parris died Monday, February 15, 2010, at her residence.

She is survived by a daughter, Beth Parris (Johnny) Carr, of Pensacola, Fla.; a son, Bryan Milton (Jenifer) Parris, of Jacksonville; a sister, Louise Davis, of Newnan, Ga.; grandchildren, David Parris, Heather Carr, Will Parris, Jared Carr, James Carr, Xiaoli Carr, Ellie Parris, Ethan Parris and Ruby Kate Parris. Pallbearers will be David Parris, Will Parris, Mark Norman, Nelson Mahaffey, Randy Lusk, Mike Bishop, Ray Parris and Adrain Parris. Honorary pallbearers will be Jared Carr, James Carr, Charles King and Kyle Black.

Mrs. Parris was a retired bookkeeper from Manna Enterprises. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Parris and her parents, William Calhoun and Christine Calhoun Early.
