Funeral service for Mrs. Johnnie L. Anders, 66, was at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 28, 2010, at St. Paul CME Church with the Rev. Dr. Johnny B. Adams, eulogist and Pastor Martha Ewing officiating. Burial was in the Jacksonville City Cemetery with Goodson Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include children, Bonita Fleming, Anthony Adams, Mack Watley, Adolph Anders Jr., Octavia Anders; siblings, Harry Woodruff, Julia Jones, Iola Gainer, Nancy Wilson, Jackie Watley; seven grandchildren; fifteen great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by husband, Adolph Anders Sr.; parents, John and Josephine Watley; a sister, Joyce Watley; and grandson Maynard Wiggins.
