Jim and Mary Roberts of Jacksonville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 5 at their residence.

The event was hosted by their sons, daughters-in law, and grandson.

Their children and spouses include Mike Roberts of Jacksonville; Chris and Melissa, and grandson James Roberts of Tuscaloosa; and Dan and Joy Roberts of Atlanta, Ga.

The couple was married on Dec. 27, 1959 in Hokes Bluff.
