Funeral services for Alice Henderson Arnett, 95, were Monday, October 26, 2009, at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel with the Rev. Truman Norred and Rodney Sprayberry officiating. Burial was at Hillcrest Cemetery. Mrs. Arnett died Friday, October 23, 2009, at Jacksonville Medical Center.

She is survived by one daughter, Jerry Bates; four grandchildren, Lynn (Rodney) Shaddix, Debbie (Keith) Williams, Cindy (Terry) Anderson and Lisa Green; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Hunter Green, Jason and Rodney Shaddix, Terry Anderson, Gaines Snow and Butch Guier. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin and Allie Green.

Mrs. Arnett was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville and a 50-year member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Arnett; her parents, Hoyt and Velma Henderson and a great- granddaughter, Elizabeth Dawn Green. The family would thank the staff of the Senior Care Unit at Jacksonville Medical Center.

Funeral service for Mrs. Joyce June Wright 71 of Jacksonville was Friday at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Eddy Ryder officiating. Burial followed at Maple Grove Cemetery.
