Donald Lee Wagoner, Sr., Piedmont, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at Jacksonville Medical Center.
A native of Jacksonville, Mr. Wagoner was born on March 10, 1970, the son of the late Lloyd and Mary Jo Morris Wagoner. Mr. Wagoner attended Auburn University and Communicate of St. Charles Catholic Church in Jacksonville.
Survivors include his wife, Carla Rena Christopher Wagoner; three daughters, Angela Dawn Gardner (Terry), Corrie Alexandria Wagoner and Donnielle Leigh Wagoner; three sons, Christopher Dalton Wagoner, Donald Lee Wagoner, Jr., and Lloyd Dell Wagoner II; two brothers, Joseph Dale Wagoner (Holly) and Wendell Walker Wagoner (Kim); one grandchild, Emma Oberian Gardner.
Funeral Mass was held Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Folsom Funeral Home with Father Donald Ash officiating. Burial was in Monger Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ray Pruitt, Scotty Christopher, Michael Moudy, Bobby Coogler, Terry Gardner, Joey Wagoner, Alan Jones, Bill Smith and Jeff Mussellman. Honrary pallbearer was Matthew Smith.
