Tuesday’s winter storm prevented delivery at the usual time this morning and on Wednesday, except to a few select retail outlets along Alabama 21.
Carriers should begin delivering Wednesday’s and today's editions after 11 a.m., according to Dennis Dunn, The Star’s production and circulation director. Trucks will also begin delivering papers at that time to most usual retail outlets and vending machines. Wednesday and Thursday papers will be available in stores, while only today's edition will be in vending machines.
Crews also will also begin distribution of The Star’s sister paper in Talladega, The Daily Home.
Most subscribers will receive their newspapers today, but remaining ice on some routes may continue to prevent delivery, Dunn said.
Meanwhile, The Star's website, annistonstar.com, remains free for all visitors so that residents can be kept up-to-date on local news and information on this week’s winter storm.
