Prep basketball roundup: Spring Garden girls, boys score wins over Cedar Bluff

Darian Gaines had 15 points as Spring Garden High’s girls basketball team beat Cedar Bluff 58-40 on Friday night.

Madison Sides added 14 points, and Tykeah Rogers added 14 points and 14 rebounds.

Spring Garden (20-4) will face Ranburne on Tuesday at home.

Woodland 72, Ranburne 34: Leah Strain had 24 points for Woodland, and Shanna Strain added 19.

For Ranburne (15-8), Jesse Ralston had nine points and four steals, and Lacey Smith pitched in eight points and grabbed five rebounds.

Boys

Randolph County 65, Beulah 59:
Andrew Prestridge had 15 points on five 3-pointers to lead Randolph County (9-9), which will play again today at Handley.

Rico Nelson scored 15 points, and Braxton Lackey pitched in 10. Levi Phillips scored nine.

Spring Garden 61, Cedar Bluff 34: Will Westbrook had 19 points and 11 rebounds. Dakota Lambert pitched in 14 points.

Will Ivey had 12 points, and Jay Prater contributed 11 for Spring Garden (9-10), which will host Ranburne on Tuesday.

Clay Central 62, Cleburne County 39: DeAndrew Wills had 32 points and Jo Jo Staples added 12 for Clay Central (10-7), which will travel to Saks on Monday.
