American Red Cross volunteers of the Calhoun-Cleburne Chapter of Project SHARE winter season is accepting calls from potential applicants. The program is designed to give financial assistance to qualified individuals with their energy bills (electric, gas, butane or wood) once during the winter season (Jan. 1-June 30). The elderly, 62 and older, on low fixed incomes with no other source of funds and those disabled and receiving 100 percent disability are eligible for Project SHARE.
