Standing at only 5-foot-4, Williams is in a three-way-tie for the shortest girl on the team. Her small stature has not hindered her performance on the court. She averages 14 points per game for the Lady Raiders.
She plays big on the court and she dreams big off of it. She hopes to explore places like New York and California one day. For now, she will stick to her dream of earning an athletic scholarship.
Although she is on the basketball court now, the softball diamond is where her heart lies. As an Alabama fan, she hopes to earn a scholarship to play outfield for the Crimson Tide one day. As a Pleasant Valley native, she would also cherish the opportunity to play for Jacksonville State.
But, it does not matter where she plays. She just wants the chance to play in college. She is deciding between becoming an educator or a career in the medical field
Recently, Williams took a few minutes before practice with her teammates to sit down with Anniston Star sports correspondent Jordan Smith and knock out 10 questions.
