As we head into a new year, I would like to thank all who have supported The Salvation Army during the recent Christmas season. If you put money in a red kettle; if you sent a monetary donation to our office; if you adopted an angel; if you made a donation of goods for resale at our store; if you have prayed for us as we work in the community; if you have supported us in any way, on behalf of The Salvation Army in Anniston, I thank you very much for your help this year.

I do not take your support lightly. Without what you provide, it would be next to impossible for us to provide essential help to those who are truly in need in our community. It’s because of your generous giving that we were able to open a warming station these past few days at our facilities. And, it’s because of your generous giving that we will be able to provide other programs throughout the coming year.

Again, thank you for what you have done. I continue to solicit your prayers and support of our effort to help the people of this area. May God bless you and may God bless The Salvation Army.
