Troy and Dorothy Evans of Weaver announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Delane Evans, to Nathan Wesley Formby, son of Ricky and Vicki Formby of Ohatchee.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Al and Louise Honeycutt, formerly of Weaver and Joe and Jewell Evans of Wellborn.

Miss Evans is a graduate of Jacksonville State University with a bachelor of science in education degree. She is employed by Calhoun County School System as a substitute teacher.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Arris and Jean Formby, formerly of Pell City and the late Trixie and Willie Harrell, formerly of Ohatchee.

Mr. Formby is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in software engineering. He is employed by McCartney Construction in Gadsden.

The wedding will be 4 p.m. Nov. 16, 2013, at the Alexandria Community Center in Alexandria.
