A fourth man was arrested Thursday in connection with a group of people charged with attempting to use counterfeit money at two Anniston bars.

Marques Young, 23, of Anniston, was charged with possession of a forged instrument in the first degree, a felony, according to a police report.

According to Anniston police Capt. Allen George, on Aug. 4 police were dispatched to AJ’s Sunset Bar and Grille on the 1500 block of Hillyer Robinson Parkway after workers reported that a woman, identified as Audrianna Triana Swink, tried to use a fake $100 bill at the bar.

George said when officers were questioning Swink another person, identified as Justin Javarius Cleveland, also attempted to use a fake $100 at the bar.

According to a police report, Swink and Cleveland both told police they didn’t know each other or that the money was counterfeit, George said.

On Aug. 5, employees at the Smoking Moose Saloon on the 1200 block of Noble Street reported that 14 counterfeit $100 bills had been used at their establishment the night before.

Police reviewed video surveillance footage from the bar, which showed Swink, Cleveland, and two other men, later identified as Christopher Dale Grayson and Marques Young, using the counterfeit money.

Swink, Cleveland and Grayson were all arrested Aug. 22 and released from the Anniston City Jail on bond on Aug. 23. Their court date is set for Sept. 16.

Young was arrested in an apartment on the 500 block of Glen Addie Avenue Thursday. He was in the Anniston City Jail Friday morning. His bond is set at $10,000 and his court date is scheduled for Sept. 16.
