A woman told police Monday afternoon that her white camping trailer was stolen from an Anniston parking lot.

Anniston police Capt. Allen George said the 40-year-old victim last saw the 31-foot-long camping trailer on Sunday night. The victim parked the trailer in a parking lot on the 3300 block of Henry Road because she was trying to sell it, George said.

The trailer is worth $12,000, according to a police report.

Police were checking local businesses in the area today to see if the theft was caught on surveillance, George said.

George said police had no suspects this morning.

Any suspect could be charged with felony first-degree theft.
