Anniston police this morning were investigating a burglary in which two televisions and jewelry were stolen from a home on the 700 block of Oak Street Thursday night.

Anniston police Capt. Allen George said the victim arrived home from work to find her back door had been kicked in.

The victim told police two flat-screen TVs, a laptop computer, three pieces of jewelry and various pieces of silverware were missing from her home.

A police report estimates the items at $9,000.

The captain said officers found no evidence at the scene and investigators had no suspects.

Any suspects could face charges of third-degree burglary, a felony, according to a police report.
