We were pleased to have Dr. Larry Riddle preaching today about what a great time to celebrate America! We honor the greatest generation but as we look forward we see trouble. A land once set up to defend from the wicked is being ruled by the wicked ways. There is a crisis of commitment today. No one seems to truly love America. We are one generation away from becoming not one nation under God anyone.
Why are there so many lost people in church? There is a church on every corner- Jehovah, Mormon, Hindu, Mus-lim, Scientology, etc. There are 160 million members! Not all are truly saved!! Out of 15 million baptist but maybe only 1 million actually come each time the door is open. The Bridegroom is coming and you will be found without your lamp filled with oil. The lost have never truly repented. The good people think that is all it takes. Many have spoken a few words and feel saved or were dunked or splashed for salvation. Some just show up to get recharged once every week or two. If you think what you do or who you are or where you go matters, think of this - Judas lived with Jesus three years and look what happened to him.
John 3:16-19 tells us how to do it. Why do we search for ways to justify not doing it or convince each other to ac-cept abominations that God said were wrong?
