Anniston police on Thursday were investigating a burglary at the First Baptist Church of Anniston in which two flags and a custom-built computer tower were stolen.

According to Anniston police Capt. Allen George, an employee noticed on Wednesday morning the church’s floodlights had been damaged, a window had been broken and the flags and computer had been stolen from the church office. A police report estimates the damage at $1,469.

There were no suspects as of Thursday, George said.

A suspect could face felony charges of third-degree burglary.
