As we prepare to celebrate Mother’s Day, the Bell House will host our Mother Daughter banquet Saturday night at 5pm. There will be a Baby Dedication this Sunday morning for all babies born over the past year. Brotherhood will meet 3rd Sunday at 745am. Make plans to attend.

Bro. George opened to Prov. 13:22, in a new series Dynasty Duck Family, called “Ducking Your Child’s Inheritance.” A dynasty is a line of kings from one family that continues to do something right from one family to the next. What is your family learning from you? What are you allowing to control their lives? The principles they will inherit should be religion, relationships, and responsibility for all decisions make. You must be aware of the priorities. Top is the truth of the things of God. These are the treasures we lay up. Togetherness in the family praying for guidance, not just over food, and time that you give them. Your children have a desire to know and love you but you have to be there.

The practices they inherit are your practices. They see your attendance and how often. They see if you ever grace a church’s door or ever get on your knees to pray. They see you go to church in winter but claim family time when its nice out. Church is family time! They learn from your prayers, from your possessions you find important and your attitude for others. If you run others down and talk about them on phone or face book rather than going face to face to end it. Love others in a Godly way. The world runs others down, not God. The attitude that youre better than them is nothing but failure. Children learn by your obedience to God. Give Him your time, talent, treasures, and most of all, your children. He will bless you.
