A vehicle running a stop light through an Anniston intersection this morning caused a crash involving a tractor trailer and another vehicle.

Anniston police Sgt. Clint Parris said three vehicles collided at the intersection of South Quintard Avenue and Greenbrier Dear Road around 6:39 a.m.

Parris said a pickup truck, a car and tractor trailer were involved in the wreck.

“It appears that one of the vehicles ran a red-light,” Parris said.

Parris said he was uncertain whether the car or the pick-up truck caused the accident.

The sergeant was unsure how many people were involved in the accident , but believed they suffered minor injuries.

Parris said the accident was still under investigation Thursday afternoon.
