It is the most wonderful time of the year — SPRING! And we are so about it.

After a long, long winter layered under drab black and gray, it’s time for a little skin and a whole lot of color.

And what better way to introduce color and look blooming good than to break out your favorite floral prints?

Right now we’re loving these really comfy pants in vibrant floral prints that we picked up on our recent trip to New York City. These pants are so light and comfortable that it’s like wearing pajama pants in public, except they’re super stylish and won’t get you the stink eye for ... well ... wearing your pajamas in public.

We don’t judge, but others do.

Floral prints are apparently the “in” thing this season, but we’ll probably rock these long after the cherry blossoms are gone. We each picked up a pair at Uniqlo for less than $10 each.

Ricks went for a pair of the most colorful ones she could find in the store, while Reese opted for a more subtle color palette.

In addition to these great affordable finds, Ricks lucked up on an amazing pair of flowered pants at a thrift store in Brooklyn called Junk. She added some elastic to the bottom and presto! Instantly on trend and fly for about $8.

Because of all the colors in the pattern of the pants, the possibilities are endless. We dressed them up with blazers layered over tank tops as a great way to transition from really warm days to cooler evenings and indoor spaces.

We also dressed them down with just a simple untucked button-down shirt, but they also look good with cropped sweaters and classic high-top Chuck Taylors.

Spring is a great time to try seasonally appropriate trends like adding a bit of floral and bright pops of color to liven up your wardrobe. If you hate clothes with flowers on them, try a vibrant tribal print with bold colors instead. Whatever you do, embrace the wonderful weather with your wardrobe and have some fun.
