Boy Scouts of America Venture Crew 4009 recently attended the Coosa Lodge PowWow in Mentone. Venture Crews are made up of co-ed groups of young adults from 14-20 years of age. The members learned how to camp, cook, Native American culture and hike the Thunderbird Trail together. The Crew meets twice a month at St. Mark United Methodist Church in Golden Springs. The Venture Crew 4009 advisor is Ted A. Heathcock.
