Ronnie Lee King, 57, and Kenneth Allen Willingham, 53, were charged with second-degree arson, a felony, according to Anniston police Sgt. Chris Sparks.
King was arrested Monday afternoon on Simpson Street, according to a police report. Willingham turned himself in at the Anniston Police Department this afternoon, Sparks said.
On March 21, the Anniston Fire Department responded to a fire at a single-story home at 2604 Simpson St., Anniston fire Lt. Bryan Tumlin said. The fire burned 25 percent of the home, Tumlin said. No one was inside when firefighters arrived.
The fire was investigated by Anniston firefighters and Anniston police.
Police believe the fire was started with gasoline, Sparks said.
King and Willingham were both released on $15,000 bonds, Sparks said. Both men are scheduled to appear in court May 6.
