Last year President Barack Obama said his views on same-sex marriage had been "evolving" to the point where he was a supporter.

In advance of Wednesday's Supreme Court arguments on the federal Defense of Marriage Amendment, former President Bill Clinton wrote an oped reversing his stance on the law, which he signed in 1996.

Public opinion polling now shows a slim majority of Americans supporting same-sex marriages. That's a reversal since 1996 when almost 7-in-10 Americans opposed it.

So, what do you think? Have your views "evolved" on gay marriage? Leave your comments below, remembering to observe our rules for civil dialogue.
