Tenth graders take trip to Janney Furnace Photo: Special to The Star Photo saved as AHStourJanney Tenth grade students from Anniston High School recently participated in a field trip to Janney Furnace Park in Ohatchee. History teacher, Stephanie Meagher, and science teacher, Tiphanie Hall, accompanied the students. The Friends of Janney Furnace and Sons of Confederate Veterans Ten Islands Camp hosted the students. The trip included a tour and history lesson on Janney Furnace, the Daniel log cabin, the Civil War and Native American museum and the Calhoun County Confederate Memorial Wall.
