Forty-eight-year-old Robin Elizabeth Kelley was charged with removing $1,900 from the bank account of a friend, a 48-year-old Hokes Bluff woman, between March 2012 and January, according to Anniston police Sgt. Chris Sparks. Sparks said police were uncertain how Kelley obtained the money. Sparks said that video evidence from different banks, all in Anniston, substantiated the charges and led to the arrest.
Kelley was charged with second-degree theft, a felony, according to a police report. Kelley paid her $2,500 bond Thursday and was released from the Anniston City Jail. A court date is set for April 4.
