Garfrerick’s Cafe in Oxford is going green Saturday with a new Irish-themed dinner theater event.

“Shamrock Jam” is a fun musical celebration of St. Patrick’s Day produced by CAST’s Kim Dobbs, featuring some of the area’s finest talent.

The three-course dinner includes a choice of entree: tenderloin beef tips in Guinness gravy with Irish colcannon or half a roasted Cornish hen in Irish whiskey pan sauce with “bubble and squeak.” Both include organic green salad and wood-grilled cabbage wedge. Dessert will be an amaretto-soaked pear and white chocolate bread pudding.

Dinner begins at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30. The price is $45 per person plus tax and gratuity.

To make reservations, call Garfrerick’s Cafe at 256-831-0044.
