Anniston Star - Keeping neighborhoods neat

We are all thankful for the opportunity to have the city of Oxford pick up large items and leaves from our yards. It’s nice to be able to just put it out there and not have to drive it to the local landfill and pay to drop it off.

But, please wait and put out your trashed items pretty close to the day they pick it up so the rest of us in the neighborhood don’t have to look at your trash laying street-side all week long. If they come on Fridays, don’t put it out on Saturday.

A nice clean neighborhood looks junky with all that trash piled at the road.
