Woodland 27, Ranburne 14
RANBURNE — Justin Heard had another huge game for the Woodland Bobcats, rushing for 204 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries in their win 27-14 over Ranburne on Friday.

The stat line didn't end there for Heard.
The senior also had 66 yards receiving for a touchdown and ran in a two-point conversion on offense, while racking up 11 tackles and a sakd on defense.
This was Heard's second four-touchdown game in the last three weeks, both in Woodland victories.
Woodland (2-4) took a 7-6 lead into halftime when quarterback Drew Triplett connected with Heard from 58 yards out with four seconds to play in the first half. The point-after gave Woodland the lead.
On the first play from scrimmage in the second half, Heard took the ball 60 yards for his second score to give Woodland a 13-6 lead. The two-point attempt was no good.
Ranburne would take the lead again at 14-13 with a Daniel Chambers two-yard touchdown run and a two point conversion with 2:15 to play in the third quarter.
That was Ranburne's last score, though, as the Bulldogs watched Heard run for two more touchdowns, the first from 55 yards out with 1:18 to play in the third quarter and the last from 19 out with 2:14 to play in the game.
Dustin Collier had 13 tackles for Woodland.
Woodland (2-4, 2-2 Class 2A, Region 5) hosts Randolph County next week while Ranburne (2-4) will travel to Lineville.
Wadley 51, Donoho 14
WADLEY — Wadley had no problems with Donoho on Friday night, using four quarterbacks and only playing its starters for the first quarter in the win.
Starting quarterback Trey Fetner, senior Dalton Jones, freshman Ryan Siskey and seventh-grader Tylar Sparks combined to complete 11 of 13 passes for 177 yards and three touchdowns.
Wadley (5-1) did most of its damage on the ground, however, amassing 240 rushing yards. Timothy Marable carried the ball four times for 103 yards and two touchdowns, and Kelsey Staples had three carries for 57 yards.
Place kicker Skylar Humphries was 5-for-5 in extra-point attempts and kicked a 32-yard field goal.
Donoho (0-6) played a penalty-free game, and neither team fumbled.
Wadley plays at Winterboro next week, while Donoho will host Providence Christian.
Hokes Bluff 35, Jacksonville 0
HOKES BLUFF — The Golden Eagles had no luster against the Eagles from Hokes Bluff Friday night, getting shut-out.
Hokes Bluff running back Frederick Toleman accounted for four of his team's five touchdowns, with three rushing scores and one punt return for a touchdown. He had 131 yards total.
Fullback Donnie Adcock had Hokes Bluff's other touchdown.
For Jacksonville, Matt Thompson rushed for 61 yards, but threw two interceptions.
Omar Bowie led the Golden Eagles with 83 yards rushing.
Jacksonville (1-5, 1-3 Class 4A, Region 6) hosts Cherokee County next week.
Cedar Bluff 27, Collinsville 21
CEDAR BLUFF — A late flurry of scoring before halftime led to a scoreless third quarter, but Cedar Bluff found one last touchdown in the fourth to come away with the win.
Collinsville opened the scoring with a 6-yard run by Joe Newton in the first quarter. Three mintues later, the Eagles responded in kind with a 28-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Crane to Tyric Scales.
With the score at 7-6, a 14-yard pass from Crane to Anthony Taylor gave the Eagles (5-1) a 13-6 lead in the second quarter.
Collinsville came back, scoring on a 35-yard pass from Newton to Fred Bennett, making the score 14-13. Just before the half, Collinsville scored on a Robert Gray 7-yard run, giving them a 21-13 lead.
Cedar Bluff then replied on a 9-yard pass from Crane to Scales with 11 seconds left in the half, putting the score at 21-19.
Cedar Bluff took the lead for good with 2:11 left. Crane hit Taylor for his fourth TD pass of the game on a 23-yard pass. The 2-point conversion was good the Eagle defense held on for the win.
Cedar Bluff travels to Spring Garden on Friday.
Spring Garden 34, Gaylesville 6
GAYLESVILLE — Trey Littlefield rushed for 180 yards on 14 carries and scored three touchdowns as Spring Garden ran away with the win.
Tyler Messer also had a big game for the Panthers (5-1, 3-1 Class 1A, Region 6). He rushed for 96 yards on 13 carries with two scores.
Messer got Spring Garden on the board on its first drive of the night. He capped a 12-play, 86-yard drive with a 20-yard touchdown run. Jake Scott's point after was no good, keeping the Panther lead at 6-0 with 5:35 left in the first quarter.
After a Trojan punt, it took Littlefield just one play to score his first touchdown of the night. This one came on a 67-yard run with 3:28 left in the first. He also rushed for the two-point conversion, giving the Panthers a 14-0 lead.
Messer capped the first-quarter scoring on a nine-yard run with 57.6 seconds remaining. Scott's point after made it 21-0.
Littlefield scored his second touchdown of the night right before halftime on a four-yard run to cap a 14-play, 91-yard drive. Scott's extra point made it 28-0 Panthers at the break.
Littlefield scored his final touchdown of the night on a 34-yard run with 4:07 left in the third quarter.
Gaylesville (3-3, 2-2) scored its lone touchdown with 1:27 left in the game on Andrew Lindsey's six-yard run.
Leeds 51, Pleasant Valley 7
LEEDS — Junior quarterback Rush Perkins led a balanced offense, and Leeds' defense turned in another solid performance as the second-ranked Green Wave (6-0) celebrated Homecoming by clinching a playoff berth with a lopsided Class 3A, Region 5 victory against the Pleasant Valley Raiders (3-3, 2-2).
The Green Wave scored on their first possession on Perkins' 31-yard run with 8:22 remaining in the first quarter. Leeds erupted for 21 points in the final 6:10 of the second quarter to open a 28-0 halftime lead.
Leeds had three rushing touchdowns in the third quarter. Marqus Sanders scored on a 1-yard run, Dedrick Foresight on a 4-yard run and Randon Carnathan on a 1-yard run. Payne Laster kicked a 20-yard field goal early in the third quarter.
Pleasant Valley's lone touchdown came on Michael Lockridge's 59-yard pass to Kyle Bean midway through the third quarter.
Cleburne County 38, Central-Coosa 14
ROCKFORD — Cleburne County got on the scoreboard early and often to defeat Centra-Coosa and improve to 4-2, 2-1 in Class 4A, Region 4 on Friday.
Aaron Fields scored on an interception return in the first quarter, one of four Tiger picks.
Brad Easley connected with CC Watson twice, both for touchdowns. Easley finished 9-of-16 passing with 165 yards and two touchdowns.
Levi Davis scored on a five-yard run in the second quarter. Will Gaines kicked a 32-yard field goal in the fourth.
On defense, Josh Pesnell and Benton Cooley each had ten tackles. The Tigers travel to Saks next week.
T.C. Central 43, Notasulga 8
NOTASULGA — The Talladega County Central Tigers got back on track Thursday night, defeating region foe Notasulga.
"We were just trying to bounce back off that Munford loss," TC Central coach Chris Mahand said Friday. "We started off a little bit faster this game than we did against Munford."
Senior quarterback Dion Duncan completed four passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. Eric Garrett also completed a 22-yard pass for a touchdown.
Duncan carried the ball six times for 50 yards. Isaiah Johnson rushed for 42 yards while V'nonte Chapman carried the ball seven times for 50 yards. The Tigers had 258 yards of offense.
Tony Meadows and Javon Williams led the Tigers on defense. Meadows had an interception, while Williams added two sacks in the game.
A swing in momentum in Notasulga's favor was brief.
After the Blue Devils had pulled to within 13 points of the Tigers, head coach Roland Bell elected to go with the surprise onside-kick. The gamble failed, however.
