WASHINGTON, D.C. — Four Southeastern Conference schools, including Alabama and Auburn, have oined XM Satellite Radio, the company announced Tuesday.

Florida and Vanderbilt also will become part of XM's SEC lineup, starting this fall.

XM plans to carry every football game for all 12 SEC teams, as well as the majority of men's regular season basketball games. XM will also carry key women's basketball and baseball games during the regular season.

XM will also carry SEC championship football, men's basketball, baseball and women's basketball games.

SEC commissioner Mike Slive sees a chance to expand the league's national audience.

"We are particularly pleased that all 12 SEC member institutions will now be participating in the conference-wide agreement," he said.

XM has more than 9.3 million subscribers nationwide. SEC games can be heard live on SEC channels 199-201.
