Make it 17 AU commits

AUBURN — The early football commitments keep coming for Auburn. The Tigers on Tuesday picked up their 17th early pledge for the 2009 class, this one from Peach County (Ga.) High School defensive back Reggie Taylor. Taylor makes it six players to commit since participating in Auburn's senior camp during the June 14 weekend. This as Auburn's coaches try to beat other major programs with early scholarship offers. Taylor had 39 pass breakups as a junior. He reportedly runs a 4.36-second 40-yard dash and chose Auburn over early offers from Ball State, Iowa State and Memphis.
