A 20-year-old man told police Sunday that his ex-girlfriend stole his debit card and bit him, Anniston police said.

The Piedmont resident was visiting a friend at a house on the 1100 block of Project Drive Sunday between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m., according to Sgt. Chris Sparks.

Sparks said the man’s ex-girlfriend arrived at the home and the two went outside. The victim discovered the woman had broken a window on his mother’s car and stolen his debit card, Sparks said.

When the victim confronted his ex-girlfriend, she reportedly bit his upper left arm, the sergeant said.

The woman left before police arrived, Sparks said, and the victim did not need medical treatment.

The woman is likely to face charges of second-degree theft, a felony, and third-degree domestic violence, a misdemeanor, according to a police report.
