Celebrations: Templeton/McDill engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Steven Creg Templeton of Heflin announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Lindsey Templeton, to William Reid McDill, son of Elizabeth Bennett McDill of Carrollton, Ga., and Alton Keith McDill of Bay Minette.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jeanette Lindsey Gilbert of Dadeville and the late Yancey Thornton Gilbert and the late Mr. and Mrs. Billy Sunday Templeton, formerly of Dadeville.

Miss Templeton is a graduate of Cleburne County High School, Auburn University, and received a Master of Science degree in occupational therapy from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She is employed as an occupational therapist at RehabWorks of East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Joyce Stephens Bennett of Heflin and the late Walter Rollan Bennett, and Mr. and Mrs. John William McDill of Bay Minette.

Mr. McDill is a graduate of Cleburne County High School and Auburn University. He is employed as an environmentalist by Battelle Memorial Institute in Anniston.

The wedding will be July 27, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church in Heflin.
