As I see it, the way to balance the budget should start with entitlements to millionaires. Anyone over the age of 75 earning $200,000 per year should not be entitled to Social Security or Medicare.

We should cut all subsidies by 40 percent.

Foreign aid should be slashed by 30 percent.

Members of the House and Senate should pay for their own insurance, housing, food and travel.

Parks and museums should be funded by the states rather than the federal government.

Taxes should be raised rather than forgiven for all imports.

Campaign donations more than $5,000 should be taxed at a rate of 40 percent or distributed evenly between parties.

All lobbyists should each have to pay $2,000 a day to lobby Washington.

Organizations such as the Tea Party should have to pay business taxes.

Bet if these ideas were to be implemented we would have a surplus rather than a deficit in less than a year.
