Anniston police are investigating a Wednesday night fight between two women on Rocky Hollow Road involving a razor.

Anniston police Capt. Allen George said a 28-year-old victim in the incident said she received cuts to her left calf and scratches on her neck and chest from a 30-year-old suspect during a fight. The victim told police she had an argument with the suspect earlier that day, and later confronted her around 7 p.m. to resolve a dispute. The victim told police she threatened to beat the suspect up and the two began fighting in the street, George said.

A police report said the victim had two cuts on her calf along with scratches on her neck and chest, but did not receive medical attention.

The suspect in the case was not at the scene outside of a home on the 1900 block of Rocky Hollow Road when police arrived shortly after 7 p.m.

No arrest had been made as of 1 p.m. Thursday. George said police were still investigating the incident.
