A three-car crash at the intersection of Quintard Avenue and 19th Street tied up traffic on the southbound lanes of Quintard this afternoon.

Anniston fire Lt. Eric Arnold said the department got the call at 2:50 p.m., and no one was injured in the accident.

Thomas Rostofer, 26, said he ran a red light and hit two cars crossing the intersection on 19th Street.

Bria Forbes, 18, was driving a gray Honda to Jack’s when she was struck, she said, her voice shaky.

“He ran the light and hit us,” said Robin Gunn, the driver of a purple Dodge Neon.

Gunn was driving to work at Stringfellow Hospital with co-worker, Lorenzo Pointer, in the passenger seat, Gunn said.

Pointer said he wasn’t physically hurt in the crash.

“I can’t make no money today,” Pointer said. “I’m hurting from that.”

Rostofer, who was driving Chevrolet pickup truck, said he had just left work at Monarch Windows and Doors and was in a hurry to get home. He hadn’t noticed the light change, he said.
