Ott Chandler got off to a good start in his bid to win a second event this season on the Calhoun County Golf Tour.

Chandler shot a 3-under-par 67 Friday and grabbed a one-shot lead after the first round of the Wilfred Galbraith Invitational at Anniston Country Club.

Casey O’Toole is second after a 68.

Jeff Champion and Freeman Fite are next at 69.

Three other players — David Sanders, Gary Wilborn and Jaylon Ellison — all shot even par 70s.

Chandler won the County Tour’s season opening event at Cider Ridge.
