Following a 2-1 loss to Alexandria, in what Head Coach CJ Boyd described as, “one of the best games we’ve played all year,” the Lady Eagles were eliminated from the area tournament to bring their season to an end.

Jacksonville started out with an 11-1 loss to Cherokee County, eventual area tournament champion.

The Lady Eagles fought back to beat Hokes Bluff 5-2 in the elimination round.

Mikayla Ludwig pitched six innings recording four strikeouts for the Lady Eagles and Katlin Jennings came on in relief in the seventh inning.

At the plate Julie Newell and Chametris Young each went 2-for-3 with an RBI; Ashton Gaddy was 2-for-3 and Abby Jaskowski was 2-for4 and also brought home a run.

Against Alexandria, Darrien Martin was 1-for-2 with an RBI. Jennings pitched the entire game for Jacksonville.
