RICHMOND, Ky. -– The Jacksonville State baseball team's game against Eastern Kentucky on Friday was postponed until Saturday because of heavy rains.

The two teams will play a doublehader Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m.

It marks the third straight weekend the Gamecocks have altered their Ohio Valley Conference baseball schedule because of weather.

In Saturday's first game, left-hander Casey Antley (4-4, 5.13 ERA) will pitch for the Gamecocks, while right-hander Brent Cobb (5-5, 4.08 ERA) is expected to start for the Colonels.

The second game will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the opening game. Right-hander Taylor Shields (6-2, 3.73 ERA) will take the mound for the Gamecocks to face EKU's Ben Gullo (RHP, 2-2, 4.58 ERA).

Sunday's game still is set for noon.
