In Texas, Aledo High beat Fort Worth Western Hills last week by that ridiculously lopsided score. According to this report from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the winning coach -- whose team is ranked No. 1 in its state classification -- did everything he could not to score in the second half. The losing coach agreed.
But a parent of a Western Hills player filed a bullying report with the school district. "By state law, Aledo and all school districts must provide a bullying report form on their website. Aledo’s principal has to investigate the allegations reported and prepare a written report of the investigation, determining whether bullying occurred," the newspaper wrote.
And, as you can imagine, it's opened up quite a conversation about how far the definition of bullying can go.
