What was once the only method for transportation in the early stages of our nation has become a lifestyle for others. Meet Hannah McCurdy, a junior at Piedmont High School. Since she was born, Hannah was destined to become a competitive, driven equestrian.

While it may seem like just another race, there is much preparation that goes into horseback riding and the competitions it entails — uniforms, horse trainers, nationwide travel and many other factors. Hannah has competed in numerous events in the South, winning countless ribbons and bringing pride to her horses, trainers and her family.
