The Coosa Valley Resource Conservation and Development (RD&C) Council inducted Alton Hall and William Thomas into its newly formed ‘Hall of Fame’ at its 2013 annual meeting held July 18 at Clay Central High School in Lineville.

Hall is a White Plains native and has been an active council member since 1975. He has served as secretary/treasurer and the chairman of the Watershed Structure Improvement Committee. Thomas is a native of Lafayette and a charter member of the council which was formed in 1965. Thomas has served in many capacities on the council and is serving as vice-chairman. Hall and Thomas have provided more than 86 years of dedicated service.
