Alabama puts five on Sporting News All-America team

Alabama landed five players on The Sporting News preseason All-America team, which is the most nationally.

The list includes running back T.J. Yeldon, receiver Amari Cooper, offensive lineman Anthony Steen, linebacker C.J. Mosley and safety HaHa Clinton-Dix.

Seven others from the SEC made the team, including Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, Georgia running back Todd Gurley, South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, LSU defensive tackle Anthony Johnson, Florida cornerback Loucheiz Purifoy, Missouri punt returner Marcus Murphy and Florida punter Kyle Christy.
