Kitty Stone Elementary school raised over $2,000 for Relay for Life, culminating in a day of fun last Wednesday.

The two teachers whose students had donated the most spent part of the day on the roof of the school library. Scott Lovell, who teaches fourth grade, spent the morning on the roof in a dress squirting water at the children below and sixth-grade teacher Brittney Page took the afternoon shift, dancing and doing cartwheels for the students.

About 35-40 teachers and staffers from the school showed up for the Friday night Relay for Life event to walk and work one of the tents.
