On Friday, Nov. 17, the JSU Writers' Club joined forces with several sixth graders from Kitty Stone Elementary to videotape skits for a unit in Iraq.

The Writers' Club has been corresponding with the NBC Recon Platoon, Headquarters Co., 3rd Brigade of the 10th Mountain Division for about a year and they wanted to send them a special present. Chris Kuszniaj, a former JSU student, is a member of the unit.

They asked the sixth graders at Kitty Stone to help and together they put on two skits, one in which Osama bin Laden gets a job as a mall Santa and is attacked by children and another in which the students from Kitty Stone acted out the last part of 'The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.'
