Just as Jacksonville State University’s overall enrollment hit a high this fall with 9,481 students, its distance education program also hit a record with 3,234 students.

The Jacksonville High School band is planning a unique fundraiser for the coming holiday season. They plan to go caroling. Instead of raising their voices in song, however, the students plan to raise their instruments.
