Brittany Leigh Price and Joseph Paul Cobb of Jacksonville were married at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Saks Baptist Church. Rev. Daniel Harper officiated.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wayne Alldredge. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Lynn Cobb.
The bride is a graduate of Pleasant Valley High School and Jacksonville State University. She teaches kindergarten at Coosa Christian School.
The groom is a graduate of Pleasant Valley High School and Gadsden State Community College. He works at Anniston Army Depot.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a silver on white satin gown with a V-neck halter top and A-line skirt with a detachable cathedral train. The waistline, bodice and skirt were embellished with metallic embroidery, beads, sequins and rhinestones. Her double fingertip veil was adorned with bugle beads and floral beaded vines in crystals, beds and sequins. Her “something old” was her grandmother’s pearls, a wedding present to her maternal grandmother from her grandfather. Her “something borrowed” was a diamond tennis bracelet from her mother-in-law and her “something blue” was the forget-me-nots included in her bouquet in memory of her loved ones who have died.
Maid of honor was Davita Angelique Brock of Weaver, Shanna LaRose Johnson of Wellington, Jennifer Ann Reaves of Anniston and Brina Lee Hart of Anniston.
Anna Jewel Arenth and Allison Jade Arenth of Weaver were flower girls.
Cherie Walker Prickett was wedding director. Sara Marie Thomas of Anniston was program attendant. Autumn Layne Arenth of Weaver was guest register. Lynne Lewis and Kay Bagwell were musicians.
The groom’s father was best man. Groomsmen were Brandon Lee Martin and Christopher Lloyd Hamilton of Jacksonville and Ricky Lee Kelly of Weaver.
Ring bearer was Gabriel David Behel. Zoey Gene Behel was Bible bearer.
After a wedding trip to the mountains of north Georgia the couple lives in Jacksonville.
