Mr. and Mrs. Arlan Roszell of Jacksonville announce the engagement of their daughter Lindsey Brook to Matthew Benjamin Hulcher Sledge son of Mr. and Mrs. John Sledge of Fairhope.The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joene McKee of Winter Haven, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Bedwell of Glencoe and of Peggy Roszell and the late Dean Roszell of Anniston. She attended Jacksonville High School, Birmingham-Southern and Jefferson State and is employed at the law firm of Cory-Watson-Crowder and DeGaris in Birmingham.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Jeanne Sledge and the late E. B. Sledge of Montevallo and of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hulcher of Ervington. He is a graduate of Fairhope High School and the University of Birmingham in Birmingham. He is employed by ERAC Fleet Services in Birmingham.
The wedding will be at 5 p.m. Sept. 27 at First Christian Church in Anniston.
