Eleanor Godbey attended the Alabama Youth Leadership Programs 2008 Student Leadership Conference May 30-June 1 at Auburn University in Montgomery. She joined more than 150 other young leaders representing as many high schools from throughout Alabama.
Eleanor attends Jacksonville High School and was chosen to participate in the conference based on leadership potential.
“The conference challenged me to think about the world around me and what we, as the future leaders, have to do to positively influence business, government and society,” she said. “I also better understand that my goals and dreams are important and that leaders have extreme responsibilities in whatever walk of life they pursue.”
