Woodland High School varsity cheerleaders attended NCA Cheer Camp at Auburn University in June. The squad received the following awards and recognitions: superior ribbons, safety while stunting award, spirit sticks, bid to NCA National Competition, and overall camp chant champion. Girls nominated for All-American cheerleaders were Emilee Parmer, Kendalyn Allen, Jill Jacobs, TamLyn Benefield, Courtney Strain, Sadie McCormick, Makaela Caldwell and Fallyn Baldwin. Girls selected as All-American cheerleaders were Emilee Parmer and Kendalyn Allen. Emilee Parmer also received a priority invitation for NCA staff.

The Woodland Junior Varsity squad attended NCA cheerleading camp at Auburn University in June. They performed very well all week long and received numerous awards. The squad received a spirit stick every night of camps and all Superior ribbons. They were also named as the 'Camp Chant Champion' for the junior varsity squads. Savannah Meadows was also named as NCA All-American cheerleader.
Squad members include, left to right, front row, ninth-grade, Jordan Howard; Ashley Burgess, captain; Alyce McCain, co-captain, and Madison Henley; middle row, eighth-grade, Anna Glaze, Jordan Williamson and Abby Cook; back row, seventh-grade, Zoe Arrington, Leah Strain, Savannah Puckett, Macie Edwards and Savannah Meadows.
